Our training courses
We designed our courses to help our customers become productive right away. The duration can be customized according to customers’ needs. Courses are delivered both in the classroom (at our premises or at the customer’s site) and via the web. At this time, courses are delivered exclusively online.
Only customers who own the latest versions of our software may attend the courses (by 'customers' we mean those who have purchased a perpetual license; rental, educational, and demo licenses are excluded).
Each participant receives a certificate of attendance, which may also be used for the recognition of training credits, where applicable.
At the end of each course, participants are asked to provide an anonymous evaluation in accordance with the procedures set out by the quality system. The average score is 94/100, a result the company is proud of and which proves the effectiveness of these training methods and customer satisfaction.
The courses
Roads
The course provides the knowledge required to produce a complete design—alignment, profile, and cross-sections—of a linear infrastructure (road, railway, canal, sewer, etc.). It also provides the guidance needed to achieve working independence, thanks to the progressive simplification that has accompanied the continuous development of the software.
Topography and Geodesy
The course provides the basic concepts for using the software in the context of mapping systems and the processing and drafting of tachymetric topographic surveys.
Cadastral Topography
The course provides an overview of how to use the program to acquire, process, and manage a cadastral survey, as well as the procedures related to Pregeo.
Hydraulics - Watersheds
The course aims to teach the procedures for the correct use of the software to manage watershed-related issues and to interface correctly and effectively with HEC-RAS. HEC-RAS website
Hydraulics - Water Supply Networks
The course teaches the procedures for the correct use of commands to manage issues related to water supply networks in CIVIL Design, and to manage a network in collaboration with EPANET. EPANET website
Hydraulics - Sewer Networks
The course teaches the procedures for the correct use of commands to manage issues related to gravity sewer or drainage networks in CIVIL Design, and to manage the same network in collaboration with EPA-SWMM. EPA-SWMM website
Railways
The course provides guidelines on using the software to design a new railway line and, upon request, to address the problem of optimizing an existing line with minimal deviations.
Land
The course provides the basics for using raster and vector mapping for land design and planning, and for creating 3D models.
Modelling (Quarries, landfills and 3D models)
Acquire the basics for creating and managing 3D models of quarries, landfills or other works, aimed at quantity takeoff and measurement.
Road regulations
The course aims to provide an analysis of current road regulations, with particular reference to DM 05/11/2001 for the construction of extra-urban roads and to DM 19/04/2006 for the construction of road intersections. Practical application examples are provided, with particular reference to the use of CIVIL Design software.
